1994 – Art Monk sets an NFL record for consecutive games and hosts New York’s first game in the Jets’ 18-7 loss to the Detroit Lions. Monk’s 5-yard catch gives him 178 straight games with a reception, breaking Steve Largent’s NFL mark.
