ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – In Governor Andrew Cuomo’s State of the State address, he mentioned affordable broadband for low-income New Yorkers. However, in some parts of the state, people don’t have broadband at all.
“COVID-19 has highlighted the shortage of high-speed broadband in our rural New York state communities,” said MP Angelo Santabarbara. “Hearing the governor say we are 98% covered for the New York broadband program just isn’t accurate. It doesn’t reflect what we’re seeing here.”
