Second Half: NYCFC 1, Orlando 1

53 ‘: Wide open start to this half. Both teams seem to have enough space to push the ball up. I would be surprised if there wasn’t another destination in this one.

The second half is underway. Can NYCFC find the starting destination?

HT: NYCFC and Orlando are level 1-1 in the half. It was a slow start for the Boys in Blue. After City had to endure sustained pressure early on and conceded a goal from Chris Mueller, City was able to hit back with a draw from Keaton Parks towards the end of the first half.

43 ‘: GOOOOOOAAALLL !!!! City equalized in the last phase of the first half!

Parks is being developed by Taty Castellanos. His first shot goes off Rowe, but his next shot is loosened into an open net! We’re tied at 1-1!

35 ‘: Keaton Parks has three chances to score. But Orlando’s defense holds strong on everyone.

26 ‘Tinnerholm gets in a shot. Makcay-Steven shows some good skills on the right and plays them to Parks. Parks pushes it to Medina, who fires a shot, but it’s right with Rowe. #NYCFC

18 ‘: goal. Orlando City.

It couldn’t be worse.

5 ‘: Rough start to this one. Orlando has come relentlessly into the City backline.

We’re in Orlando. I am worried about this one.

Rosters are out! After Sands is injured, Alex Ring slips back into midfield. Ronald Matarrita will fill the gap on the left wing while Gudi Thorarinsson will fill in on the left back position.

The history: New York City FC is a wounded team. City fans have received some bad news after a bitter 2-1 loss to the New England Revolution in the Bronx over the weekend – star prodigy James Sands is likely to miss the rest of the 2020 season with a broken foot.

And with Maxi Moralez still on the mend, NYCFC will be forced to play Orlando City on the street with a severely depleted squad.
